Booked for a long weekend, 2 couples, for the Padstow Christmas Festival. We were looking for a comfortable, conveniently located place to stay and Chapel Cottage didn't disappoint! In fact, it exceeded our expectations!! Tucked away down a quiet little alley, the cottage is right in the centre of the action without the risk of noise disturbing our stay. We had a fabulous stay, visiting the wonderful shops and of course, enjoying the festivities that went with the Festval celebrations. Wonderful meals at the many surrounding restaurants and lovely pasties and pastries from Rick Steins little pastry shop, next door but one.
The cottage was immaculately clean, comfortable, warm and surprisingly spacious and had everything you needed for your stay. The owners even had a lit Christmas tree to welcome us upon arrival! We cannot recommend Chapel Cottage highly enough and we will return! Thank you!! X

"What a gorgeous find with an unbeatable location. Slap bang in the middle of Padstow, yards from the harbour, close to all the lovely restaurants. Despite this it was extremely quiet. Some background noise from a nearby pub on a Friday night but this stopped early. Much larger than we expected for the location too, it was ideal for our party of 5 adults. Two spacious double bedrooms and a bunkroom, however they were full size bunks, so my brother (6'5") still managed a comfortable night's sleep! Was a stormy weekend in Padstow and we enjoyed a night playing board games with the log burner on, very atmospheric. Communication was great and all descriptions accurate, highly recommend !"

"We had a fantastic stay at Chapel Cottage. We were a family of four with a 5 and 1 year old. Location perfect for us - v short walk to Padstow amenities and restaurants, as well as close to the start of the Camel Trail and coastal walk to beautiful beaches. Parking away from the cottage a non-issue. The cottage itself is very spacious yet cosy, accentuated by the decor, with ample room for a family. Perfectly clean. Kitchen and bathrooms appointed nicely with all a family could need. Our boys had a delightful time exploring the cottage and the courtyard. Thanks for a great holiday."

"Absolutely beautiful house, we felt very spoilt staying here for the week. Padstow is a great base & Chapel Cottage is a great house in a fantastic location. A stones throw from the harbour, pubs & restaurants. Highly recommend visiting Embers the pizza place just down the road :) "

"Perfect house for a family stay right in the heart of the town. The house is spotlessly clean, really well equipped. Gav and Gem are great to deal with. Couldn't be better 10/10 Thanks for a great holiday"

"Absolutely charming cottage right in the centre of Padstow. Lovely interior with everything we needed. Beautiful large fluffy towels! Do hope we can book it again next March as Padstow is wonderful this time of year - all the shopkeepers and restaurants so welcoming with enough time to chat compared with manic summer season!"

"We had a fantastic stay at Gav and Gem's place, so much so that we didn't want to leave! The cottage is furnished to a very high standard and is extremely comfortable. The location is perfect- right in the heart of Padstow and yet is so quiet, we had trouble waking up each morning! We will definitely be returning again. Thank you Gav and Gem for being wonderful hosts."

"A lovely cottage hidden away in a private 'court' right in the middle of Padstow. Very pleasantly furnished and with all the kitchen equipment we needed. The hosts were very helpful, giving us lots of information in advance and answering a couple of queries after we arrived."
